About

I am no fashionista, but I do like style and try to stay current on the trends.   Being a busy gal who works full-time at a job that has nothing to do with fashion, I don’t have a lot of time to know the difference between a $500 pair of Marc Jacobs or the $25 pair from Target (though I am quite sure I would never buy a $500 pair of shoes).

Hence the aim of this site.  I want to keep you in the know on the latest trends, but I also want you to know how you can get a celeb’s style  for under $100.  Some folks may scoff at the idea of getting the fashion for under $100, but I promise I will never get bored with it.  :)

My goal for this site is to become a go-to source for the budding thrifty trendsetter.

Shoot me a message with any requests or items you are looking for and I will try to recreate it or find out if it is available for under $100!  Talk to you soon!

Now the boring stuff (Disclaimer):

Affiliate Disclosure
Sometimes, I include affiliate links in my posts here on Thrifty Trendsetter. What are affiliate links? These are links that take you to other sites which offer me some form of compensation for sending them visitors or customers.  The income from these sorts of links helps to pay for my server costs and for the time I spend running and maintaining the blog & website.  Though I appreciate making some money in exchange for the time I spend working here, this blog chiefly exists to serve its readers, and for that reason, I will never, ever use an affiliate link for a company I don’t wholeheartedly support.
